Hi everyone!
We just got back from a trip to Montana to attend Ed's funeral. What a wonderful and special privledge to be able to be there. The service was just beautiful and on our way to Drummond for the burial there was a solid mile of black and white cruisers with full lights behind us, and six patrol Harley's surrounding the herse. It was very neat. We surely will miss Ed, he was quite a remarkable person and was well loved by everyone who knew him. Cheryl, we know that you are still in for a hard road as you heal, but if you need anything, please know we're just a phone call away.
We had a rather busy week, Thursday I took Lizzie to be the "special guest" at Emily's preschool! We gave her a little bath, changed her clothes and talked about all the stuff in her diaper bag...and that's lots of stuff! Emily was so proud to have her little sister at her school. She was cute about it. Emily and I also ate lunch at Cam's school that day. He showed us how to get our trays...where the milk was... and how to "do" everything. Cute kid. I can't believe they're growing up so fast.
We went to the Pumpkin Walk, which is an old North Logan tradition, people make scenes composed mostly of pumpkins or gourds, this year the theme was music so there were scenes form Phantom of the Opera, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, High School Musical, etc. Anyway, we've been going for years with some friends of ours...we've known them since Justin was roommates with the guys. Now it's almost 12 years later and we've got 10 kids between us. Whew! That went fast. Anyway...it was fun to get together.
Saturday my lil butterbean turned 4 months old...so we decided to try some solid food! Well. It wasn't near as fun as I thought....this solid food stuff is MESSY!! Check out the pics, Lizzie was less than impressed! We'll have to try more a little later..hahahh!
Hope everyone is having a good week - Carmelle it was great to ride with you to Montana, and just have some time to chat. Jenette you'll have to post more, I love to read your blogs they make me laugh!
Here's a few pics - have a great day!
Love,
Amy
